1. Basic setup
Buying women’s and men’s watches in Malaysia is not easy. Thus, once you finally get hold of
your beloved timepiece, learn how to care for it and use it well. Whether you own a mechanical
watch or a smart watch, use it properly. Are you excited to use it? You need to set it up first.
Turn on the smart watch. Then, pair it with your phone. This is one of the easiest parts. All you
need to do is follow all the onscreen instructions. After the entire installation process, make the
device yours by tweaking the home screen.
Pick the watch dials, hands and background that suit your fancy. Add widgets based on your
daily routine, from calendar appointments to weather reports. Don’t forget to activate its complications.
2. Mobile payments
Queue up the daily alarms. Which notifications do you want to allow? Mobile payments is one
thing that you would want to allow on the smart watch. Android Pay, Apple Pay, Fitbit Pay,
Garmin Pay, Samsung Pay and other mobile payments are not just for trivial convenience. They
can be really helpful during travels, or when you are very busy. Usually, a default card is set on a
watch, so make sure to set to choose a a primary account.
3. Refine messaging replies.
Almost all smartphone screens range from 38mm to 44mm wide. This is barely huge enough to
read notifications on, let alone compose messages. This is why a lot of these devices provide
alternative input approaches, including handwriting recognition, dictation and canned responses.
Set quick replies that explains to the recipient that you have seen the message, and would
respond later on. Since it’s impossible to use your hands, reading out replies is better way.
4. Prepare your music.
It’s time to connect your headphones to your new smart watch. Plenty of newer smartphones
allow users to stream music on Bluetooth headphones. This makes it easier for them to run
errands without their phones. Save your music playlist on the smart watch ahead of time, so you
can listen to them even without internet connection.
5. Set fitness reminders and goals.
Your timepiece would likely come with a preset daily step goal. If you are so conscious about
your fitness goals, then tweak it according to your objectives. Whether it’s steps taken, distance
traveled or calories burned, this will help you keep yourself on track.
